Shears might make a couple extra HP but the power curve is a touch smaller than the CPi's
so if you running the hills might want to run the CPIs but it all depends on what the porter said to run because each porter does things a little different.
We are running SB OOF shears on my wifes drag ported stock cyinder 350 and it seemed to pickup a little from the cpi's.
Really either pipe is a good pipe and you wont wrong with either Set.
V-force's are awesome reed setups but a good set of stock cages and some good fiber reeds will work really well as well.
