really, how hard is it to screw up a freakin stator? it's a bunch of wire wrapped around a peice of iron.
if you screw that up and it's your buisness then you should just curl up in a dark, damp corner, and die from lonelyness. |

(this is for a banshee) their pick up coil gap is too wide... WAY to wide! it is supposed to be 20 thousandths of an inch from the flywheel pic up tabs, im not sure what they make it to, but its not 20 thousandths. so if you are running an RS stator, buy a feeler guage and bend the pick up coil until it is 20 thousandths of an inch from the flywheel tabs. (for all bikes) another thing to consider when running an RS stator is the screws they use to put it together, too many times ive heard of them backing out and destroying something on the inside. this has actually happened to my brother. my suggestion is to take it completely apart, buy some red lock tite and reassemble.
