Default what is your views on Ricky Stator stuff?

i need to get some lighting coils and a rectifier for my zilla and some people on another forum said they are not so good. while others say they make good stuff. what is your take on the quality/performance of their stuff? anyone use their products?

I'm adding a battery and charging system to my zilla so i can run (2) 4in HIDs. my stock stuff will only light one 55w lazer star light. so i need to upgrade.

Junk! Not by experience but that's my response based on years of RS reviews.
And this is only based off the Banshee. Nothing but horror stories bout their electricals!

Can't recall bad CDI reviews though.

got from them a few months ago. we
never used it, but i will tell you, the metal
is really thin. ive heard that people have
had issues with them breaking.

Ohh... I used to have the RS timing plate.. Didn't look too bad but after replacing my stator and flywheel I wasn't going to chance it.
Read the reviews about the breaking plate and replaced it with an expensive Pro Design billet plate.
Charriott Perfermance is coming up with alot of stuff, one is their own billet plate.. Nicely priced too!

I'm sure you can rewire it though, Banshee guys have done this themselves and been more successful than Ricky.
The stator I have is rewired by an electric tech @ Alba, zero flaws and works 100% since installed.
I'm sure knowing all the properties of the Zilla stator he can rebuild off your core.
I have his name and phone number tucked away if you would like to call him and avoid that horrible Alba customer service center.

Couldn't find his direct # but the Tech's name is Dave Nadeau and Alba's # is 619 486-4380.
Hope that helps..
