I wanna go even faster (ya I know...)
I'm wondering whether I should sell my toomys and get some CPI's oorrrrrr... when I get my top end done sometime within the next four months or so to sell my stock stroke hot rod crank and try and maybe find a 4mil stroker hot rod used or new and get port matched and the domes..... which would be a better choice??? cuz I hear strokers can cost you reliabilty but they're also extremely fast... and the pipes are gonna be a good $200 to grab. so it might be in the same region for me to get either one done....

It's going to cost more then 200 bucks to do a stroker. And if you do do a stroker you will need to get cpi's anyway for it to run like it should.

I am so close to beating a 370 long rod with a single carb setup and a plus 10 swinger... I'd consider my bike pretty damn fast
![]() I still need more opinions...

I've seen some pretty hot 4mills running Toomeys. Here is a rough breakdown based on our pricing so you can do the math. BTW, if your cylinders are dune ported now you will need to add new jugs to the list to do a proper 4mil.
CPI Chrome inframe Pipes....$580 with your member discount Hotrods 4mill crank w/Max load &extra weld....$450 Virgin cylinders...$250/pair 4mill aggressive dune port...$340 pair 795 pistons...$175 bore/hone...$90/pair Gasket set...$38 Seal kit....$30 Stroker domes...$75 O-ring kit...$20 Case sealer...$10 Lapping compound...$10(to lapp new crank to flywheel) Total...$1488 Those prices are off the top of my head, but they will give you an idea of the cost involved and a few of the things I'm sure you left out of your calculations. |

why would I need new cylinders if mine are dune ported? and my dad'll cover pretty much all the topend stuff if I have good grades (gaskets, pistons, boring) so I'd have to come up with the extra money to cover the difference between my stock stroke hot rod and a 4mil, new domes, port matching and all that jazz.
basically what I'm seeing is I'll get a huge difference if I work my ass off and a fair difference for still a bit a work. I think I'll go balls out and try and stroke it
