Default Recreation Planning Focus Groups Meetings

As you know, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Uncompahgre Field Office, is asking the public to help identify issues to be addressed as they begin revising their Resource Management Plan (RMP). The folks over at the Colorado Off Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO) sent us word that the BLM will be conducting Focus groups to provide the public with an opportunity to let them know which recreational places, activities, and outcomes are important and why.

The BLM has scheduled a series of these community-based meetings throughout the planning area, and your involvement in Uncompahgre Recreation Focus groups is urgently needed. Dates, locations and times of these meetings are listed below.

Staff from the Natural Resource and Land Policy Institute of Mesa State College will facilitate the focus group conversations. The meetings will last approximately 90 minutes, and are scheduled in multiple locations and at varying times to make it more convenient for the public to participate. Choose the time and location that works best for you.
