Worst riding injuries.

suppose my worst is and was my last on my R, was waiting for my old man to start his bike cause he stalled out on a dune. I knew he was fine, so I began to play in the bowl near by. I had not riden very hard for about 8yrs prior to this trip, so when I tried to bellow out at the bottom of the bowl and come back to the top and roost my uncle, I lost control. The trikes front end seemed to dig into the sand (was leaning too far forward) and when I nailed it to turn it around, it bucked me off the bike quicker than shit! I slammed against the side of the dune and the bike flipped up over me.

Resulting injury was 1cracked rib, two bruised ribs, badly burned leg, and a broken moral realizing that I no longer am a kid which is probably the worst injury ever

Aside from that, I am a triker thru and thru, so you can only imagine how many times I have barrel rolled or simply got bucked off the bike. But, I love the trike, and when I get on a quad, it just seems boring to me. Altho with the last injury giving me a reality check, I must say that the quad is looking better and better every trip LOL!

Didn't see it till it was in my face.. Tried to gas it & over it but the sand just soaked it up and BAAAAAAAMMMM!!!!!!!
Felt like I ran into a wall.. I held on but wouldda been better off going over the bars.
Rear end bucked and jabbed the left wrist. Left peg found my shin on the way up and found it again on the landing!
I've had my share of pain in my days but nothing like this.. I was almost going into shock!
I knew I was in pain but couldn't pinpoint it till I calmed down.. That's when the wrist starts to swell as well as the leg..
Wasn't sure how bad the leg was but the blood soaked pants kept it warm lol!!

Barely made it back to camp with my left wrist in the air.. kinda like a damn rodeo!

Couldn't move the next more.. everything hurt.. I was a train wreck!
But I still cleaned up my wounds and got my smash on at the drags!

Have hit a couple of small witch eyes that would have hurt my chest real bad but luckily I was wearing a chest protector. Other than my helmet the best $$$ I have spent on safety equipment is my chest protector. Saved me days of pain or a trip to the hospital quite a few times. I won't ride without one.

and my worst injury wasnt ridin the shee but my old BMX bike too... I had a shitty GT that was older than me but weighed like 24 lbs haha. And I came up to a jump and forgot to pull back a bit and ended up gettin bucked forward and did about half a front flip and bailed to late and smashed my shoulder on the ground and cut my head open. broke the collar bone and had 5 staples in my head. but that's my worst
other than that, only leg burns from the shee and one incident where I got whipped by the wind jumpin off comp. hill and got whipped into a tabletop position and landed and tried to regain then fell under the left paddle which I still have some nasty scars from.....

I have been knocked out cold 8 times. The last was my worst, I will take pics of my V3 pilot later. I got a slight brain hemorage with that... I have broke the face mask off of the V3 helmet, and cracked them beyond use on a One Trooper, and my old sixsixone flight. I ruptured my right ACL. Broke my right leg which i can post some pics of, 2.5 inch spiral fracture on tib and compound on fib. I have broke every finger except 3, some multiple times. I got landed on at Washougal MX during a loretta lynn qualifier and had a tire mark scar across my back for about a year and a half. Oh how fun to think I'm racing again in not long at all =)

well my worst happened today. Broke my arm...

well it's not even a break in my book. more like a small crack in the left bone in my right forearm. can still use my arm. just can't lift anything over 20 lbs and can't ride a bike for 3 weeks (Yippie! *NOT*) we'll see how long that lasts, put a soft cast over it and let's ride!

i'll take a picture of the outer damage and see if i can get a copy of the x-ray to scan in.. ****ing 4 strokes and riders leaving them in the middle of the track when they fall off!

tore my esofogus(dont know how to spell it) messed up my puke reflex and was bleeding into my stomuch and dislocated both sholders.
morel of the story banshee's are faster then 250R's but DO NOT try for the tripple with one behind you

Wow! I had a nice lil accident early this summer where I received 8 staples for my peg hitting my knee... I have posted some nice pics in another thread!

worst accident ive ever had was riding a 98 cr250 through a field by my parents old house and someone had put a box spring out there and i didnt see it untill it was too late in 4th gear pinned and i hit it and shot into the air, next thing i know my dad was dragging me out of the field on his old 250x trike and i woke up in the hospital with a concussion and a broken femur.....other then that just a few broken arms and ribs,and most recently....today....a buldged disk and torn lower back muscle...haha
