My buddy runs a Houser/Elka setup on a 450r and it's pretty nice.


I forgot the YFZ uppers were aluminum. I bet ya didnt even feel it with that stabilizer lol

Oh what a great opportunity!!! I would of gone all out and say I needed new rims, tires and powdercoating!!!

I really thougth there would be injury just by looking at the carnage! Glad no one was hurt!

Its a hard way to go to get new parts, but you have to go with what works...

Yeah I was shocked to see he was not hurt too... Just a little shook up... I did notice my key switch was bent too... Must have hit his right knee on it.

Don't know if you read my story from the dunes Presidents weekend but here goes. Buddy of mines 12 yr old son was at the top of comp on a Rappy 350 goin around a small tree, guy on an 06 YFZ450 hit him head on pinned in 4th gear. It flipped the 450 completely over my buddies kid. Both riders came out with a few scratches and bumps. The Rappy had a plastic peice snap off the headlight, that was it. The YFZ on the other hand didn't fare so well. Snapped the upper aluminum A-arm, pretzeled the lower A-arm, bent the shock shaft almost in half, taco'd the front rim and ripped a new ITP holeshot. We had to load it into my truck and take it back to their camp.
