Safety First!

Okay guys and gals,

So here it goes. My jack ass was working the wire wheel, no safety glasses,
and a wire goes flying off the wheel and stright into my eye. I go and try to pull it out, and only end up jamming it in further. Had to go to the ER and wait for the optomotrist to actually cut my eye, to remove it. Talk about a bad weekend! Even caused me to miss Lil Manny's B-day party
I know, kind of a shitty picture, but I was in a hell of alot of pain.



Anyway, Tell your worst stories, pics are always great! But remember, the point is that you should never take safety lightly. Enjoy!

Holy shit man, is your vision gonna be cool? I've had wood chips in my eyes plenty times but metal is just ****ing pain! Hope all recovers well. Oh, and don't worry about missing anything, there's always next year homie!

never had metal from a wire wheel hit my eye, it was from a drill. that was a trip to the urgent care for me. i also learned the hard way, saftey glasses/goggles are priceless.

Ha Ha, yeah, I am fine. My vision is okay now. Was kinda screwed up for a bit. I couldn't drive for about a week. Was nice to be driven around.

So how about it, anyone got any stories???? Or am I the only wreck loose

Damn!!! Big no no riding 3 wheels with on eye lol j/k, Glad you're ok!

I have a pinch on my left ankle due to a Glamis accident..
It comes and goes and the only remedy for it is to throw on the riding boots ha haa!!
Really though, that fixes it for me so off to Pismo I go for a fix!!

nah ur not the only dumb ass lol ! I was grinding with no safety glasses and the same thing happened, I got a piece of metal in my eye and had to have it removed! but i waited until i couldn't stand it no more the Dr told me it got infected and it could have caused the inner fluids in my eye to drain out of the wound and then u lose ur eye !! morale of the story wear freakin safety glasses

Ha Ha, my point exactly, but guess what I did today, yup, same shit, did not even think twice. I was lucky I suppose it did not happen again, but hey, only happens 1 out of every 100 times right?
Guess all the close calls won't mean anything till we actually do loose an eye, finger, arm, etc.
