I didn't go over there but a couple of guys from our group did.

New road makes me happy.. Felt really sad when first heard no more camping in that area.

I get why they made a new road, but i don`t get why they efffing waste money on the dumb-ass fence? DO you guys get that? OHHH i`m sure it`s to protect us from the trains! This is why they can`t balance a buget! I hate to give them money to camp except for life-flight!

I may be wrong, but I thought the railroad company was putting up the fence to protect their own asses, which resulted in narrowing of the existing road we all used to get back there.
The result was the BLM taking the initiative to grade a new road so that access would not be a problem, However the more realistic reason they did it was to avoid problems, knowing that there are those who would say, *** it, I am going anyway, get stuck, and just cause major problems down the road.

^^ You're right Auto! It's railroad property and they didn't need anymore accidents.
So they blocked us out and their old road is now private property.
I'm sure BLM granted the new road request and funded some..
But it was duners donating their own labor to make this happen.

Thats cool, i never saw a fence that worked, i just like to question authority! I guess when they punish us for buying a week pass on site for 40.00 but you can get it off site for 25.00 i have a little trust issue! BUT I`M OVER IT GLAMIS RULES!!!!!
