Default Aftermarket frames and Green sticker
This is a question for the peeps in Cali who run any type of atv aftermarket frame in public land or know anyone who does. How do you guys get your green stickers ( specially drag bike guys ) since these frames have no vin numbers.

When I was there we just went and got a out of state sticker. They don't ask for vin numbers.

How long is an out of state sticker valid for ? How and where do you buy it if you do not have an out of state driver's license ?

I do not want to risk getting pulled over by the rangers for even the most minor violation and give them a reason to ask for identification and registration and find out my current green sticker is NOT valid coz my bike dont have vin numbers to match. Does this make sense ?

NorCal, is this a new build or just switching everything to a new chasis? My boy Paul(dunedog) had this same issue, he might be able to help......

Any were that sells blm permets should have them. I got them at the same store I got my glamis sticker at. it was 10 or 15 bucks for the whole year. The best part it let me ride my 2stroke all year round.

Looking to switch to a used aftermarket chassis.

FL Smitty, do you need to have an out of state driver's license to purchase these permits ?

If your stock frame was registered & green stickered then it transfers over to your aftermarket..
Not sure if CHP has to inspect new frame & issue VIN # decal?

Ok, I think all he did was go to the DMV said his chasis was wacked out or wrecked and was gonna switch to another. Took it to CHP to get a new VIN and that's pretty much it.....
