For what it's worth
I've been running a 330 for 7 years plus.
Been dynoed at Waynoka, 53hp.
Only thing I've needed to do is the clutch update.
Two other guys I know run 350s.
One guy replaced a gear pair when he was in it.

I do have a set of yukons that I plan on putting in when I build a puma next year.
Other than that I'd say you'd be ok to put stock ones back in.

But it's always better to be safe than sorry.

I think they're only about 300 bucks. If that number is right, I'd say hell yeah it worth putting them in

As we all know dyno numbers are relative.
That was the numbers the one in Waynoka put out.

I don't have much problem with the modded YFZ's either.
I've had a few guys come back around to see what I was running.
If you know what I mean.

So PORTED you've been told that yours should pull 60.

I was told that the other quad I have should pull 110.

But as they say where I grew up.
"I'm from Missouri. Your going to have to show me."

Now I'm not saying I don't believe you.
I'm just saying don't get to hung up on the numbers.

Like you say you can stay with and take the modded YFZs.
That shows that your bike will run and run good.
I'm not saying all this to get in a pissing match with anyone.
I was just trying to give banshee11 some info so he could make a decision on what he wanted to do with his quad.

Default Yukon's Not Needed

My ATC250R will pull on most if not all 450's...and it is truly a 250R, keeping the front end down is the challenge...don't need the yukon's as long as you have good Honda OEM gears, specially 2nd & 3rd gears.

Carlos.

ya no biggy its just that hp # u have on ur 330 sounded low it just caught my attention
the last thing i want is a pissing match
and i bet ur 330 would walk alot of bikes and dyno;s do seem to throw wierd numbers out

and banshee11 i would rebuild the tranny with stock gears but throw in a yukon 2nd and 3rd gear

Thanks for stepping up SandPsycho and Sider. I was having a hard time with the part about "easy 60 hp" as well but I'm not sure I have enough street cred here on DC yet to introduce a comment like that. I'm not hatin, I assure you, a 310 can get there but it's anything but easy. A safe assumption is in the higher 40's and a reasonable tuner should be able to find "50 easy hp" in a 310. Anything higher than that and I'm with Sider...bring the dyno sheet or leave the numbers out of it.

And the YFZ hp data is inflated about 10hp as well.

Also, your R is nice PORTED so please don't take any of that the wrong way brother.
