Default goodbye 310R hello ???R

yup i got a project motor going now
i picked up a bottom end that had pretty cherry internals and tranny
but cases were thrashed
but i got extra cases
im building a 4mil bottom end (bulletproof) every bearing and seal new
for the topend ????? not sure yet i can pick from 370,350,330 or even a CP cylinder

my 310 motor will be put away as a back up , i cant see myself selling it ,its a good motor

ill get pics up of the bottom end i picked up and my cases

my cases will be sent to ESR to get bored for a larger sleeve

most likely my parts will come from wildcard racing

Seems like the choice is obvious

Anything bigger than the Sphynx or maybe a small Puma and you'll be needed some clutch work too

Yep 4mm is what the Sphynx and Puma strokers are. The Sphynx comes in 68, 72, 74.5 and 78mm bores and the Puma cylinder comes in 72, 74.5, 78, 80.5 and 85mm bores.

I was doing a lot of calling around last year cause I wanted to do a CP cylinder in my trike. For the money, the puma would be a better choice over the sphynx based on what everyone I talked to said. I'd love to hear first hand what they are like.

You're right on, the Puma is the way to go. I can tell you first hand that you won't be disappointed. A good friend of ours has a couple. We were down at the beach tuning with him recently and his 431 Puma with a Shearer OOF, as usual was by far the fastest single around. Thanksgiving, when all the PlanetSand big boys from around the Northwest were out, it was the fastest single as well. Damon had his Saber there but couldn't get it dialed, which would have been the fastest single of the day.
