A big bore 250r is never going to be as easy to kick as a banshee, not many things are. Your ignition and pipe should not affect how easy it is to start. What compression are you running? How is your jetting? Normally jetting is the first thing I check if it is hard to start. What carb are you running, is it able to flow enough fuel/air to keep up with the demands of a 330? Is there any portwork done, alot of times this make its harder to tune and harder to start. Just take it one step at a time, you should be able to start it in less than 10 kicks, if not then something is definitely not right.

PVL's can be harder to start then OEM. Its not how hard you kick rather the speed in which you kick it..

i switched to a cr ignition from stock and it was a nite and day difference starts on the first or second kick everytime even on a cold start my motor is a 310 with a 6 mil crank....... ive only heard of banshee guys running the pvl never heard of them on a honda?? |
