BLUERIBBON COALITION LANDUSE UPDATE! The planning areas encompass approximately 7.8 million acres in Malheur, Lake, Harney and Grant Counties in Oregon. The BLM is seeking public comments during a 90-day scoping period, to help identify issues and concerns that should be analyzed as they develop a range of potential alternatives with respect to Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) use and Wilderness. Comments will be accepted until July 8, 2010. It is extremely important that OHV enthusiasts get involved in the designation process and stay involved throughout the entire process. Comments may be submitted in writing, by email or by fax.
