I`ve never been to razor rd, would like to some day! These pics. are from there, i love critters! As far as i`m concerned they can close everything down and send all the rangers home! Waste of tax dollars, but then people abuse the land! Sorry i didn`t answer the queston!

Rasor Rd. Is NOT closed, but if your going that far why not just drive another 45min. to Dumont? For a good local trail spot hit up Stoddard Wells. 5min south of Barstow off the 15fwy, Hodge rd. Exit turn right. No fees and there's a few restrooms out there too........

Just to check it out, but looks like the rain is going to mess that up for me. The wife is having a all girls party at the house. Sending the kids away, So I was thinking of doing a day trip. But like I said, rain, dammit!

For any and all who may be interested. I was heavily considering trying this place out. Researched it, and joined their website forum. Wll, this is what they sent to all subscribers....

Some things have developed to force us to have to shut down our somewhat of an
open door policy at the ranch. We have never had an open door policy, but to all
of our friends the courtesy of "come on in" was extended.

As of now we can't allow anyone access to our property for any reason. I am sad
to say that if you are caught there, trespassing laws will be enforced.

A few certan people will have access to the Ranch but will have written
permission to show the athorities when they are approached. This written
permission will have a code name in the letter to prevent forgery.

This may not last for ever, but for now it is serious, please respect our
wishes.

Thank you very much,
And again, I am sorry

manny I have a feeling you and Auto are talking about 2 different areas ? Auto. the rasor. rd area we know of is just off the 15 about 20 miles or so from baker , and it is BLM land is this the same place you are calling this "ranch "

That's right DD! The Rasor Ranch is a private property with a cabin off Rasor Rd. Owned by the same dude who own the Rasor exit gas station. He used to allow all sorts of people he knows but I guess it got outta hand that's why its off limits now........
