To all Duner Central members:

The staff here at DC would ask that you take a few minutes to review
this thread before you participate in the purchase or sale of items listed
in the marketplace section.

I would like to first lay out the disclaimer that DC is not responsible for
the outcome of any transaction weather it be good or bad.

Pictures and price of the item for sale are required on all sales
classifieds. If a picture or price is not listed in the classified,
a moderator will post a friendly reminder. If a correction is not
made, the classified will be removed.

Before purchasing an item in the marketplace section please take the
following steps to prevent yourself from loss:

1. Check the sellers post count (Review his posts or threads to judge
character.)

2. How long have they been a member? (Are they an established
member on DC or are they new. There is always a greater potential for
loss when dealing with a brand new member.)

3. Source of payment. (How do they want to be paid. This is very
important! Paypal is always the first choice. Be aware of the risks of
sending personal checks, cashiers checks, and money orders. Once
they are cashed, you are out of luck. Paypal offers many ways in which
you can protect yourself in the event that you become a victim of a
scam or fraud.)

4. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, ASK THE DC STAFF!!! (There is at least 1-2
moderators signed on at all times. We are very knowledgeable as to
who is good to do business with, and will tell you who to avoid. Thats
why we are here! If you are unsure, please contact us!)

Investigate! It is YOUR responsibility to check on the credibility
of the seller!

The safest way to prevent loss is to deal with the trusted DC
Sponsors. Again, if you buy from a member in the marketplace section,
please take the necessary steps to insure a good and successfull
transaction.

I take pride in having a good site name, and so do our members. If any
member is cought scamming or ripping off another member, they will
be removed from the site IMMEDIATELY! The staff is very well known
and respected amoung other forums. Other forum Administrators will
also be notified to prevent a possible negative transaction on their
sites as well.
