Default The Ultimate Sand Machine

The Ultimate Sand Machine

Is it time to modify your dune quad to increase power and improve overall
performance while eliminating the power-robbing elements of the sand
dunes? This ride is proof that you can obtain huge performance gains at an
affordable price with the right knowledge and products. This Sand Wizards
Racing quad was custom built by Brian Rolen of SWR, starting with a 2004
Yamaha Banshee frame. We’ve highlighted 10 features that are sure to
improve your dune riding experience.

1. Yamaha Banshee 421cc Cheetah Cub (4mm Stoker) Engine

This engine/cylinder package consists of a 4mm crank by Crank Works (58mm
stroke), 68mm-bore Wiesco Pro-Lite pistons, Pro Design cool head with
custom Patriot domes and a ported Cheetah Cub Nikasill-plated mono-block
cylinder. Engine and quad combination is estimated to be at 90 to 100
horsepower. (Complete 4mm Engine Package $3,000; www.patriotracing.net)

2. Fullbore Innovations Race Cut Plastics

impact polymer alloys that is very tough, with a great finish found in a variety
of brilliant colors. When compared to other aftermarket fender kits, Fullbore’s
quality, style, and fit are unmatched. Fullbore is offering a wide range of
fender kits & tank covers for most popular ATVs. (Front race w/grille $279,

CPI big bore out-frame drag pipes and Toomey T-5 in-frame play pipes. CPI
Pipes were built specifically for modified engines and horsepower gains vary
with the mods you have done to your quad. CPI Out-frame drag pipes have a
reputation for being very loud but very effective on the drag strip. (Keihin
