Dpends on the conditions the trailer sees and the size of the wheels too. A tiny 15" tire at freeway speed will wear down bearings faster than a grinder. Bigger tire generally gives you more time on the bearings. Does your trailer go through puddles or other wise submerge the bearings in water? We fought this with boat trailers for years. If the bearings get wet, for whatever reason, tear it down and repack or you'll be doing much worse on the side of the road soon.

It does not see water except for the occassional creek crossing at Pismo, but mostly a LOT of miles. If I travel to go ride the Socal desert or Dumont, that is close to 800 miles roundtrip alone
