i always ran bfg allterrains, i now run Nitto Terra Grappler tires.
honesly, i love them. i still would say the BFG are better but these
were the only ones i could find in 34's. they are also E rated tires.
no complaints here.

i think my bro used to own hancooks, he hated them. terrible in
the sand as well. send him a pm.

Hancook are from Korea. There was a great article on them a couple months ago in 4wheeler magazine. Supposedly they are trying to really make huge improvements on theirtires by using a lot of Kevlar. Like Kai mentioned, they use to have really hard side walls. However since the article was so new, I would ask for the build date of the tire if you are seriously considering them. The problem with tires is that they are the only thing between you and the road. I usually try and stay with what I know, which also means BFG's, but in this economy, I do have to admit, The hancooks are something I would be willing to try out.

As for me, The only other tire I would recommend, would be either Kelly's or Goodrich.
BUt again, just like the kevlar thing, manufacturers are making changes so much lately, the tires are not the same old thing we where buying 10-15yrs ago. You will make a good choice, and it will be what is best for you, may the force be with you my friend.

IMO!

hahaha, i didnt even look at the date. i was just looking through a bunch of threads since im the newb.

glad you went with the bfg's. keep those tire machines running!! back when gas shot up to $5 a gallon everyone stopped buying trucks and truck tires and the business got really slow. it has picked back up some now.

maybe gas will stay low for a while so i can keep on getting some OT for banshee mods!!
