Paul Hancooks are a decent wear tire but they are a cheap brand and the sidewalls are very flimsy,I would recommend not purchasing them if you go off road in rocky areas do to the side walls and the tread will chunk off because the tires are so hard.

yeah they are alot cheaper then BFG's but you do get what you pay for..Oh another thing is make sure that the price quote was for the corect load ratting also..I have seen way to many peeps put the wrong load rating on their vehicle and have serious concerens..I say if they are the right rating and you don't do rocks then get them..

OK Kai I ve been doing some research and they have the same load rating as the bfgs as that is important because i pull a fifth wheel! and i do know what your saying "you get what you pay for" hopefully I can find more input on these! but more than likely i will go with the bfgs we will see Im gunna have to make a decision soon

I worked at a tire shop all through high school and we tried to sell Hancook tires but the didn't last very long and side walls are thin bfg are a ok tire but had a lot of them crack in the inside were they join the rubber and leak cant fix that I heard they fixed that problem but not for sure on tires you get what you pay for just save and get a good set will save you cash and headaches in the long run

all tire prices have been skyrocketing here lately. the price of oil and natural rubber have contributed to the price increase the most.

i work for a michelin manufacturing plant in dothan, AL. michelin owns bfg and uniroyal. we actually make some bfg at's at my plant. for the money id by bfg over michelin, but michelin is a better made tire. the problem with michelin truck tires is that we dont make any aggressive looking tread patterns. contrary to michelins befiefs, looks ARE important to most people.

id read some tire reviews on the hancook tires if i were you. im not too familiar with them.

Well that was awhile back ! I ended up buying the bfgs. and thats what my buddy at the tire shop told me , that michelin makes BFGs ! I am glad I went with the BFGs they already have a few thousand miles and they show no wear
