I'm in the process of getting new paddles and would like to see if I can't get some feed back.
I've had 21x12x8 8pdl Haulers and am either looking to get the same or 22's. It had crossed my mind to maybe get Extremes this time in an 8 paddle. I know they have a reinforced blade and I've "heard" and 8 pdl extreme is like a 10 pdl hauler. Is the Extreme hook that much more noticable. I dune and drag the hill, I know gearing will play a factor in the end as well.

I was running some 22-11-8 sls 12 paddle haulers switched to 22-11-8 sls 11 extreme and made a huge difference my buddie did the same swap at the dunes on his banshee and gained 1 1/2 to 2 bikes
They come out of the hole so much harder

Yea I did some work to my bike in between the 11s and 12s but I started having issues and we took my buddies 12's off and put the 11s on his drag banshee and now he bought extremes I wont run haulers on a drag bike now
Talk to a tire guy and see what they say but in our test the 11 extremes was faster than the 12 hauler and on both bikes my 500 and a 350 drag port done by fast racing on alky with a 8 over arm

Also ...If i remember correctly the paddles on the extremes are a bit different...I think they are a bit taller and have a deeper cup and a flatter profile than the haulers' paddles...i could be wrong though...

I run Extremes on both the R(8) and Shee(9), both 22-11-8's. Its only about a paddle difference between haulers and extremes.

Though I've only ran Haulers I've taken a good look at both and Extremes just seem to have a thicker cup.
I've seen Haulers cups wear out but never on Extremes.. Guess thats due to thickness. Expected a bigger bite from them and yes they would be a tad taller. Would also slap them on a 8" rim to run low pressure.. gain traction and side wall as well. Looks like you'll need a longer swingarm too??? ' |
