Default Quick paddle question

I just bought an 06 KFX 400. I found a GREAT deal on a set of 10 paddle haulers in the 20 inch flavor. I know they are not the best choice for my quad BUT.

I'm thinking of dropping the front sprocket down to a 13t and airing these down just a little. Do you think these will work OK? Thoughts on runnning a 10 paddle on a near stock 400?

I read all of the sand tire articles here but I still think I can make these work. Troy

it might pull them ! and yeah it really helps to run a 13-42 on the kfx ,if the deals good buy them ! and it will be easier to pull them with more air then less!

I see a problem with it doing nothing but wheeleing every time you hit the throttle,10 paddle is alot of paddle for a 4 stroke stock swinger.

Default Paddles

OK you guys have already helped me decide on passing on the 10 paddles. I'm just going to start out with buying rear skat track haulers in 8 paddle. With the 13t front, should I get 20 inch or 22 in haulers? Thanks again from the newbie!

Default Paddles

I run out and sand mountain in Nevada. Mostly pleasure duning, but I like to shoot the big hill too. Troy

22's will help with ground clearance when cresting over the ridges out there and help you from getting hung up when taking off on the hill.Just gear it for them and you'll like them,Make sure you get a 10 rim instead of an 8 do to sidewall folding over on the 8 inch wheels.
