Default Offsetting ATV Rims

Rim Flipping, you can do this to either go narrow or wide on your front suspension.

Here's the rims I picked up. I've never seen this weird air valve that sits flush on the rim.
Anyhow I had to remove those valves to pop the beads. I couldn't replace the valves since the seals were broke.
I didn't want the deep dish on these rims so I flipped them.
818Rider helped with alum welds on both sides of the hole & drilled a hole on the other side.

A little bit of heat to warm up the surface & drop in the weld.

Smoothed out the surface with a grinder and sander just enough so it doesn't irratate the bead.

The outside is next.. Might not look all pro but these areas will be hidden. So I'm good with that.

Thought this was the best place to install the new valve. Between mounting holes.

Nice post. I personally don't like the wider offset. Many do tho.

Tried the upside down plug but it was in the way of the bead when trying to mount/dismount the tires.
I myself like the wide offset, can hit the dunes, ride bowls/walls without or whatever with out her trying to tip over.
Handling gets better with a good set of shocks!

You can easily get away with flipping the valve over and drilling a new one in on the opposite side.
I had Sandtoys Unlimited remove the tires.
