Default Aftermarket Yamaha Banshee stator

I'm looking for a good aftermarket stator. Who makes a good one with a much higher output?

I want to run 35W Trailtech hids with out a battery if I can get away with it. I know that I have to float the ground, and go to a regulator rectifier to get the out put from AC to DC. But with the out put of the stock stator being what it is, I don't think that it would keep up with hids at a idle.

I haven't been hearing good things about Ricky Stator. From what I understand they moved off shore, and the quality has gone way down hill.

that is true, ricky stator has sucked for a few years, most people have lots of issues. I've seen them bad right out of the box, and on our suzuki's, the back plate is made off center and will actually let the lighting coils burn into the flywheel, causing both to be junk.

stock is all i've seen, I'm sure for a banshee someone out there has something that will work, just stay away from RS.

One of my boys is running a Moose, think it's either a 200 or 250w & has no probs.
Electrical tech @ Alba rewires to whatever you need, I have a stocker rewired by them and works perfect with zero probs.

Stay away from harbor freight RS electricals.

There is a outfit that is called Rick Stator, I think his stuff is made in the US. How about the Moose, any Idea where it was made?

I think I need to be able to put out 35W at idle to get what I need, or close to it.

ive never heard of rick stator. i know from personal exp. that ricky stator is CRAP! if it was softer, i would wipe my ass with it. i would have your stocker rewired by alba. ive never heard of that, but if quicksand recommends it then it is a good way to go.

Not sure where Moose makes their products but it's all about the quality.
I do believe Yamaha Banshees are japanese.

Here's the Moose site: Moose Racing 2010
