Default Modquad Yamaha Banshee pipe hangers

I need new pipe hangers, and have been looking at the Modqaud stuff. Any opinions on them, or any other hangers? They will be for CPI SB in frames.

i like the cascade hangers better unless mod quad makes them with bushings now i never was into them cause of there rigid mount, but personally never heard any one ever complain. just think it could be possible to brake you actual hanger on your pipe due to vib.

I have MQ hangers for pipes and sillencers, never had one break never had a pipe break either, been running them for 5 years.

Some pipes are notorious (t-5's) for breaking the hanger on the pipe from vibration, i actually think the ridgid mounts are better they do not let the pipe vibrate like the rubber bushing hangers do, which i think causes the pipes to break. I have been through so many sets of those stock rubber between 2 steel plate mounts it is sick, especially with the cost of them...

My vote is 2 thumbs up for the MQ ridgid's.

Check out how I modified my stockers, they'll last forever.

Right now running GT fronts & Toomey rears, rubber bushings all around work great!

bolting through the Stockers is an old trick we did it for years. they baisicly become ridgids at that point the rubber is useless....

Does it work? hell yes if you are wanting something that looks good prob not your first choice.

^^ Till this day those stockers are in good shape, they only become ridig if you tighten them in all the way.
Bolts are barely squeezing rubber & allow it to absorb vibes.

I'm tempted to try the ridged. My buddies 4 mill cub ripped a tab off the expansion chamber on a set of CPI's with modded stock ones. Of course the same bike split a seam on the same pipes.

For what it's worth, CPI stood behind the pipes and fixed them.

They were in frames. CPI had him bring his bike up so they could check the fit. He sold them for a set of Sheer OOF's.
