RD350's and RD400's were cool two-stroke streetbikes that gave the inline-4's of the late 70's/early 80's a nice run for their money for a bit... When I started riding (in '85), a lot of my friends had Rd's... Cool, fast, custom, and fast cafe racers! The later version, RZ350, was water cooled and more modern in many ways.

great now i need to figure out what to do. it has been setting for around 20yrs. i was thinking of stuffing it into a quad frame but i might make a few passes with it in the bike chassis. first i need to go through everything. 10's sound way to fast for a 400ccbike but i coule be wrong, i would be happy if i hit 12's then its going in the quad frame. thanks guys...

Back in the day, built RD's (400 or 350's) could easily stay in the 11's, and the hot ones were in the upper 10's... This compared to the high 11's my old GPz550 could do (and high 10's my GPz750 Turbo managed....). They were potent bikes in their day, and embarassed more than a few GPz's and 600 Ninjas...
